The Training Advantage (TTA) is a partner of the Western Colorado Workforce Centers, located in Montrose, Delta, Gunnison , and outlying areas. TTA is a non profit organization that has delivered employment and training services in Western Colorado for over 20 years. Our goal is assisting YOUTH ages 17- 21 with comprehensive services that provide education, skills assessments, pre-employment skills training, job search assistance, work experiences and support to help clients successfully transition to careers and productive adulthood. There is no cost for our services for those who qualify. |

The WIA YOUTH program is federally - funded, designed to assist youth with vocational/ occupational training and prepare them for self-sufficiency and independence in the workforce. To qualify for the program, youth must be between the ages of 17-21, be a low income individual, and must have additional barriers to employment. Income guidelines are based on family size and six month family income. Individuals must be a citizen, or eligible to work in the US , low income /and or on public assistance (TANF, Food Stamps, SSI, etc.) |
