Program Description/Service Offered:

Group Therapy
Group therapy allows clients to share their personal and interpersonal problems in a group setting where feedback can be given and received among group members. Through this process, clients have the opportunity to develop support systems, rehearse new interactional patterns and recognize the impact of their behavior on themselves and others.

DBT
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is offered for adults whose self-harming thought and behaviors grossly interfere with their functioning. Through weekly psychotherapy sessions, methods for coping with these sudden, intense surges of emotion are learned. Adaptive behaviors are taught and reinforced to help manage emotional crises. In weekly DBT group sessions, Interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance/reality acceptance skills, emotion regulation, and mindfulness skills are taught and practiced.

Family Therapy
Family therapy is used most often when the client is in direct or meaningful contact with the nuclear family on a regular basis and the presenting problems are viewed as, at least in part, emanating from conflicts within the family.
