|
The treatment and control of tuberculosis is a state mandate. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment contracts with Montrose County Health & Human Services to provide TB testing, control, surveillance and treatment. The program is charged with finding all people with active TB in its service area and ensuring completion of appropriate therapy for those people. The program must also find and evaluate contacts of persons with TB and target testing of high risk individuals. |
